Cancun en Luxe - Spring Break Beyond Señor Frogs'

If you're anything like me, when you think of Cancun, Mexico, you think of Señor Frogs, Spring Break-ers and Girls Gone Wild! So, when I was invited to go on a trip to Cancun, I have to say, I was a little skeptical that I would have the type of experience I've come to appreciate and expect from my vacations. As a woman of my vintage (see I didn't say “age“ because I'm not claiming to be old 😂), I have evolved to requiring certain luxuries when I travel and HONEY, this resort DID NOT disappoint!

I had the pleasure of staying at the new 5-star, all inclusive, Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres for five days and had an absolutely amazing time thanks to TravElite Getaways. There is WAY too much to share so I am going to hit the highlights:

1. The resort is ABSOLUTELY stunning! They spared no detail in the design of this resort! From the moment you walk into the hotel, to the pools, the guest rooms, the bars, the restaurants, etc. everything screams luxury!

2. The service was TOP notch! As soon as I arrived in my room, I had a basket of fresh fruit and a welcome note waiting for me. I was also provided with two butlers - Miriam and Pilar. They were super sweet and took care of me for the duration of my stay! They started a group chat with me through WhatsApp so that we could easily communicate. Each day they would check on me, ask if I needed help with dinner or spa reservations, they answered all my questions about the resort, they even delivered champagne to my room when I requested it. I was in great hands the entire time!

3. The Food and the Drinks!!! Now listen, I am such a foodie! When I travel, I don't like to be forced into eating burgers, fries and pasta because everything else tastes bad. So, I was intrigued when I learned that this resort had seven restaurants plus a late night snack shop that stays open until 6am in addition to 24hour room service! While I didn't get to all of the restaurants, I picked my spots and went often :). I enjoyed all of the food! I especially loved the cheeseburger I had from the snack shop at 1am right before karaoke 😳 (it was SO good!). I even found a new favorite cocktail - passion fruit margaritas YUMMMM! One of the surprises I enjoyed was the mimosa bar at breakfast - 10 options of fresh juices and unlimited champagne - I was sold at that point!

4. "Welcome Home" is what was said to me when I first arrived at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres and that was exactly the vibe! I felt like I was at home. I was able to relax, take in the sun, enjoy my rooftop deck with an infinity pool and take in all the beauty that this resort has to offer.

There's so much more to the resort like the daily activities, the nightly entertainment/ shows, the sports bar where me and my girls tore the house down with our karaoke selections of 90's hip hop, 70s classics and OF Course, Beyonce! LOL

I can't wait to go back again and would highly recommend this destination for any and every occasion - it's Absolutely Ayanna certified!
